Week One

I'm going to start running a blog with my daily or weekly observations, commentary on new cameras I happen to be playing with or photos that I've taken with them.

Monday I stopped through Longview, WA and purchased several cameras and bits from a photographer named Melvin. Two Hasselblads, two RB67's, a few LF lenses and tons of ultra expired film. Most was dated 9/81 so it's beat me to life by two months. I shot a roll in the Hassy this morning and developed it. Obviously very fogged but amazingly good. I'm always surprised the ability of film to keep working years after it's expired. I've got a roll of Royal Xpan that's going in next. 1960ish. Should be very interesting.
